You’ve heard the expression “Laughter is the best medicine,” – but what do you do when you are in need of a good laugh? Do you watch a sitcom or your favorite funny film? There are certainly some funny television shows and movies.

But you could check out a podcast! Yes, a podcast – because there are lots of funny ones out there, too.

Here are a few to get you started!

Anna Faris Is Unqualified: You probably know her from her various movie and television roles, but she’s also got a really popular podcast – which is quite funny! Best Friends: Get ready to laugh out loud when you listen to these two best friends talk. Apple says: Gayle & Oprah. Bonnie & Clyde. Nicole & Sasheer. Enter the pantheon of best friendship. When you’re forced to change your number, are sick of being single, or want to take a pole-dancing class, you’re going to need a best friend…and if you don’t, you can still have this podcast.
Doughboys: Yes, this podcast is about chain restaurants, but when you let two comedians talk about food, it just naturally becomes a comedy podcast. Apple shares this: The podcast about chain restaurants. Comedians Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger review fast food/sit-down chains and generally argue about food/everything.
Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend: If you watched Conan when he was doing the late-night talk show gig, then you need to give this podcast a listen. He talks with some great people, and Apple says this about his podcast: After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him. I Said No Gifts!: Bridger Winegar is a writer and producer – and he’s extremely funny! The Apple description of his podcast reads: Host Bridger Winegar invites friends, loved ones, and people he’s secretly trying to destroy to join him in conversation. He only has one request: No gifts! Naturally, every guest disobeys, meaning their chat will eventually turn to whatever object lies beneath the wrapping paper.
